This is a traditional style of Chinese antique massive carved Camphor chest/trunk from China. Very well constructed with a lot of brass angle inside chest to reinforce the joint. It was sailor's hope chest with all the sailor's best wishes and hopes in it. This chest has detailed carving works on all four sides and the top. It is opened on top and has a antique latch on the front and antique hinge at back. Made from all Camphor wood inside and out so you can store your valuable clothes inside without worrying about the bugs. You may use it as coffee table. It is not only a gorgeous antique collectible items but also a wonderful room furniture. You will love it when you have it.
